The salon itself is great, but the reason I go is for Lisa. She has been cutting my hair for about a year now and every time is better than the last!!! When I know what I want, she listens to me and does it perfectly. When I have no idea, she takes the wheel and I always love what she had in mind. She is constantly on the look-out for the newest and best products and colors and I trust her 100%. Anyone looking for a new amazing stylist will be more than happy with Lisa.

I went to Capella Salon on a him about a year ago. What a truly delightful experience it has been each and every time. Lisa has been very consistent, and the salon doesn’t have that snotty salon vibe. I have sinus problems, and can I say the shampoo…wow! I always feel a little less congested. But, back to Lisa. What a delight she is. She takes her time, and actually talks with me every time. My color isn’t mixed up before I walk in the door.

Lisa has put a whole new meaning to the saying, “blonde’s have more fun.” For the past two years I have simply plopped down into Lisa’s chair with, “make me a new blonde please,” as my only request. Lisa creates a fabulous new blonde color every single time…strawberry blonde for the cooler weather, sunny highlights for spring, and a hot champagne blonde for summer! In addition to Lisa’s amazing ability to create a classic new hairstyle/color that I am completely thrilled with every time I look in the mirror….Lisa has become a very dear friend to me. Day one she taught me the correct way to blow-dry and straight my irritatingly wavy, thick hair. Today she is like my big sister that I love to laugh with and who rags on me when I let my roots get too long! Finding a hairstylist in L.A. can be a very overwhelming endeavor. Lisa will ease your nerves, find the style you are looking for, recommend the best style and treatment for your hair, talk you through everything she does, give you maintenance tips, and send you off with a hair style that you will not only love but feel confident about too!

Capella Salon is one of those salons that gets it right every time! It’s beautiful, fun, friendly and innovative. The owner, Shai, is wonderful-he’s very personable and always makes you feel welcome. Martha, who is more than the receptionist, is professional, sweet, has great phone etiquette and never messes up-gotta love that. All of the stylists have their own unique style and techniques and it never feels like a competition. They are ALL busy and most have been there for a long time which says a lot for a salon in LA. My favorite, of course, is Lisa! She has been my stylist for about 6 months and has helped me turn my boring black hair into a beautiful shimmery brown-without damaging it! love her! I’ve been looking for a stylist for 2 years in LA-and I am so happy that I found her! She is really fabulous at what she does- she will look at you, your skin, your features…and help you create a color/cut/style that belongs to you! She really understands color- I think she was a color educator for a major company for a long time. She doesn’t take two clients at once which is really nice. She is super sweet, cool, personable, and down to earth-which I love! She is very honest and will do anything in her power to make you feel comfortable. She really listens to what you want and will also give you her recommendations. You will love her energy! Even though she is in demand- you can get in very quickly if you are bad at making appointments far in advance. You will leave looking and feeling like a million bucks… “beautiful, hot, se*y”.. are words my husband has used. Your hair will be gorgeous, shiny, healthy, soft and the perfect color/style that you are looking for! Lisa Rocks! The salon has these innovative hair dryers/setters (great if you have curly hair-your curls have never looked so good!). And wonderful massage chairs while they are washing your hair-special touch! And if you are really nice, they will offer you a glass of champagne or wine-I LOVE THAT!
